Bedliners

I know a lot of you have bed liners, some mats, some inserts, and some spray-in. Has anyone ever used "Bedtred Pro" bed liner by Bedrug? They make large claims and are less expensive than spray-in. They have a money back offer and a lifetime guaranty.

No, but I use their Bedrug and it was an easy install. If I were ever to get another truck, I'd install a bedrug. Money well spent!!

The issue with liners and rugs is if they are left in, over time, moisture is trapped underneath, which can lead to rust problems. I had a liner in a pick up and discovered that after 5 years, the bed had rusted out in several places. That's why I went with the spray in liner. One of the tv quasi "science" programs actually blew up a truck with a spray in liner and the liner actually held the panels together. I believe the program Mythbusters did something similar with the same results.

X2 with Tom. I've had bed liners since early on when they came out and went to spray on ASAP to eliminate the rust issue. It may be more of an issue where they continually have to salt the roads. Doesn't matter what you do, that stuff penetrates everywhere.

Water will not be absorbed into the bed liner pad. the underside is made of the same material as life vests. (Check out the site) Maybe I'm fortunate, I live in Colorado and travel throughout the SW. Truck bed covered area looks like the day we bought it. Zero rust in the bed. YMMV.
