I use inexpensive little sponges that I get at the flea market, twelve for a dollar. They fit nicely in the tracks.

I use (yes me, the wife doesn't do this) a long bristled paint brush. I'll squirt a little bit of Dawn Dish Washing liquid in the 3 tracks and then use the shower (on the end of the hose). I spray a little water in the tracks and simple swish the brush back and forth breaking all the crud loose in the bottom. Yes, it bubbles and puddles. But, there are weep holes at the ends of the track and everything can be flushed down to those holes and pushed out. Then simply clean off the bottom of the shower pan.
I also lay a couple towels on the outside of the shower to catch any water that splashes over the outside, or the shower sprayer sprays on the floor. But, that's a good opportunity to mop the bathroom floor too with cloth or hand towel. And yes, you do have to slide the doors back and forth to reach everything.
The idea is to use a brush with bristles that are long enough to reach the bottom of the track. FYI, toilet brushes are too short, so are bottle brushes used in your kitchen sink, and even some scrub brushes, the bristles are just too short. That's why a medium size to large side paint brush works well. But, on the down side, paint brushes have very soft bristles. So if you can find some other kind of brush with about a 2.5 to 3 inch bristles, it might work better. So for, I've not found anything.

Actually the electric toothbrush does work, have one with the rotating head that was older so I repurposed it. I wouldn't use the DW's toothbrush because i can no longer sleep with one eye open and the kids are gone to test the food before I would eat.... hahahahaha

We have the same type of shower door track. I noticed that each track is supposed to drain into the track next to it eventually draining into the shower pan. However, there was enough lip between the tracks to retain some water in each track. So, I filed down the remaining flange flush to the bottom of the track to allow water to flow freely into the shower.
The track still requires cleaning as we all experience but at least we have less standing water to deal with.

The handle on a cheapy tooth brush will fit in the channel. Just spray some cleaner in there and use the tooth brush handle to press and wipe with a folded piece of paper towel.

I cleaned mine (again), just a couple days ago. I couldn't find my handy-dandy-paint brush, so grabbed the brush that came with my dust pan set. That brush worked very well, and the bristles are stiffer than a paint brush. I like the idea of filing down the week holes. I think that's my next project.

I had seen an old post but I can't remember who to credit. With a large sponge set across the tracks mark each track wall by magic marker onto the sponge. Then with a razor knife cut into the sponge. to depth of track and one swipe will clean all three tracks.

I keep about 5 or 6 old toothbrushes in the camper under the bathroom sink and about once every two weeks I take a spray bottle with Dawn dishsoap and water in it and spray it into the runners, let it sit for about 15 minutes or so the scrub them out. I've drill several extra holes in the inside runner and they drain out after I rinse the track out. Works well for us and the extra holes help to drain the tracks faster also.
