Annual Birthday Trip
 This year, we're going to James Island County Park in Charleston, SC for my annual birthday trip instead of Willow Tree. We'll arrive on January 16th and depart on January 20th. Anyone who can make it is welcome to join us.

10/22/13 UPDATE
I just made arrangements with James Island. Those attending need to make reservations as soon as you can. They are holding sites 98, 99, 100, 101,103 and 104 for us. We've been given site 99. If we need more, they will add sites. Make sure you ask for one of these sites so we will be together and please let me know when you register.
10/23/13 UPDATE
James Island is offering a 30% discount for a weeks stay for anyone who is interested and can stay longer.
Steve and Carla will be celebrating their 17th anniversary on the 17th, the same day as my birthday, so we have two reasons to celebrate. Come on down.

I've decided to rename the annual birthday trip "We Don't need No Stinking Quartsite Trip"

Just a few more weeks until Charleston. There is still more room for anyone wishing to join us.

Great News!!! Larry (HOOK) has arranged for us to take a private tour of the Citadel while we are in Charleston. If we do it on Friday, we can watch the parade where they retire the colors for the week. Sorry, Larry, I'm not sure of the correct name for it. We saw it last year and it was very impressive.

Happy New Year everyone. Only 2 weeks until Charleston and our first trip of the year. Hitch itch has started.

We have extended our stay one day and will depart on the 21st. See you all there.

I can bring some firewood for our evening campfires. If anyone else has any wood laying around, could you bring some? See you all in six days.

So Jim, you're celebrating the 37th anniversary of your 30th birthday? I just finished some weight mathematics in another post so my mind is almost mush. I am celebrating my 28th anniversary of my 30th birthday, TODAY! No camping plans but I am invited to my daughter's for birthday dinner and some canoodling with two of my grandbabies, oh what fun!
