Coleen-- Our prayers are with you and Ray! Tell Ray to take it easy and you take care of yourself also. At least you have one of the MOC Family there close by for support and help if needed and what better than to have Rich and Helen! Please keep us informed on the situtation!

God heard all of your prayers and Ray had 3 successful stints and all of his arteries are pumping wide open like they should. He may get to come home tomorrow!!Yea! I want to thank Rich for coming with me today and being my support system. He got a little taste of what I've been going through these last three days and saw how big this hospital was. The whole experience was frightful for me, but the medical personnel helped ease my mind. Even the Dr. showed me & Rich by computer how Ray's arteries were with the blockage and the after with the stints in place...now that's a professional! One of the nurses said this new Cardiac Unit does about 40 of these stints a day. There are 14 floors in this wing just for Cardiac related medical services.I think my hubby may be a new man tomorrow.. he can't ride his bike for a week..but we can go eat at the luncheon next week! Again thanks to all of you...our other family!

The Dr did not come in after the surgery and "tell" us what they did. We go to a computer terminal and they 'show" us what they did. Enter Ray's name and there we are inside Ray,s heart during the surgery. The two main arteries were blocked 1 100% the other about 70%. We could plainly see the blood one one side and absolutely nothing out the other side. 100% blocked. They did a stint on that one the day he came in to get things moving. The other one we could see blood on one side and very little going through..they did that one yesterday as well as going back and inserting one longer stint in the one they did on the first day. We could see the stint going in and the blood flowing through the artery....amazing... His vitals last night were perfect...better than mine.. He should be home sometime today. We are waiting for a call from Coleen. They did not think that getting up into the truck was a good idea as he has a something inserted in his groin and they do not want it to bleed. We will take the Honda Accord if they think it is necessary and bring him home. Medical science.....amazing..
