We just purchased our first Montana in June. We have the Mountaineer 358RLT and love it! Love the floorplan and all the storage! Previously, we owned a 30' 2004 Sunnybrook Titan which we bought new. It never had any issues at all. So far, the "Taj" has been just as reliable. Having traveled all over the country for DH's job, it's hard to say where we are really "from". We were both born and raised in Michigan, lived in both peninsulas before moving to Wisconsin, North Carolina, Iowa, and now Minnesota. Even in our working days, I guess we enjoyed traveling and seeing other parts of the country. :-)
Looking forward to learning and gleaning from your experiences!

Welcome. We also have the 358rlt floor plan. Ours is a 2013 and we had a 2004 36' Sunnybrook Titan. We weren't so lucky and did have problems so we went for the 358rlt. This is our 4th FW and by far my favorite floor plan. We absolutely love it. Is your sofa in the rear? We moved ours to the back and really like it there. So far our problems have been minor and hope that continues. Surely hope you enjoy yours as much as we do. Wishing you many happy days in your new Rv.

Hello Carole and thanks! Our couch is not in the rear, but we do move it there once we are set up. We were not sure it would clear the slide if we left it there - that isn't a problem for you? We almost bought the 36 ft Sunnybrook but I liked the rear kichen.
Thanks Larry, Pat Dennis and Linda as well!!

No, we have about 1 inch clearance for the slides. We have a fabric couch and was able to put it in front of the window treatment but you may have the wood side window/drape treatment. We started to remove the bottom bracket for the curtain but didnt have to do that. I really like the sofa in the back window and I thought they were making the newer ones with the sofa in the rear. I think you will really enjoy the floor plan. I feel like we have so much room in it.

Welcome to the MOC and the Forum! This Forum is the best place on the www to learn more about your Montana and how it works and does not work at times. If you have a problem ask away and if you have answer just click on the Repond to Topic and post your response. Just remember one thing-- there is no dumb question when it comes to something you are having a problem with.
If you would like to learn more about your unit, how it was made and much more, why not join us at the 2014 MOC Fall Rally in Goshen, IN next month. You'll learn how the units are put together from the ground up at our factory tour and learn about the items put into your unit from the OEM venders who put on sessions during the Rally. Did I mention food? Well that always goes with Rallies and we have our share. We have an Amish Dinner at an Amish Families home; a free dinner put on by Tiara RV in Elkhart; a couple potluck meals; Keystone/Montana Division luncheon; a Ladies Luncheon at a local restaurant and even more. For other things to do, we have a White Elephant Gift exchange, a Wine and Cheese event, and much more. Check us out and hopefully you will join us in Goshen on Sept. 24th! Yes, this has been a pug for the 2014 MOC Fall Rally!
