Hmmmm, very spacious up in the bed/bath area and very open in the living dining as well. It will be very interesting to see others opinions especially those that have already actually been in one. Can't wait for the specs, I assume it is a little longer, much like the 3402.

We looked at it at the rally and it is very nice. Has a new 12 inch frame and is 40 foot. The inside is very nice. When you walk in you can tell you are in a top of the line unit.

My take. Pretty, err, purdy.
Not for me tho. Read why.
In fact, if you look very carefully at the floor plans, it is very evident where the grabbed the room from. Compare the living room area of this unit to say, a MOC fav, the 3400. The scale on those drawings is pretty close, well, in my opinion, err 1 cent worth, nope, not even 2 cents.

Agree with Carol, the extra half bath took room from the living area since it is on the lower floor. First look, neat, then after looking deeper, I'd miss the room in the l/r.

For myself I would not jump on it yet.It is still a work in progress and many suggestions were made by MOC/ers as to change. That bath area up front is huge.It also serves as the laundry room
IMO Monmtana is taking a big step up in these new units.

I agree with Emmel, I like a large living area over a large bath room and bed room area. Thats why we went with the Big Sky 3580RL. The kitchen island in the 3580 makes the living area seem larger.

In talking with an unnamed Keystone executive, they expect this rig to be a big seller, but the owners probably will trade in a few years due to the way the space is divided. If it's a big seller and folks will trade, sounds like a winner for Keystone. Not what we were looking for, however.

Looking at the images, it looks like Keystone has made some really NICE upgrades to the Montana and Big Sky. The 3900 looks like an interesting concept - look forward to seeing one in person. I wonder after looking at it only on paper, if Keystone will make a modified version of this floor plan and offer the same concept with eliminating the 2nd bath... do something different there to expand the living room area. Maybe a nice desk/office area or expand the kitchen slide and push the kitchen area forward to allow for additional living room space/features. As a full timer, I'd don't have many guests stay the night so the need for a 2nd bath is not important to me. On the flip side a nice desk area or larger living room space would be appreciated. I do like the larger bath concept up front. Wonder what my opinion will be once I am able to see one in person?

After comparing the living area(on paper) we can see where one has lost lots of leg/living room space because of the main floor 2nd bathroom. We, as well, do not require that 2nd bath and agree with Montana Sky that it would be really nice to have small desk/office in that area much like we already have there in our 3455, but perhaps slightly bigger. If we could have the the 3900 open/island floor plan(less 2nd bath), with our 3455 desk plan(enlarged a bit), added with the 3900 bed bath area we would jump on it in heartbeat. Keystone are you listening?

I have heard whispers that manufacturers don't think that a desk is required in a RV, cause we all use LAP tops!
That "all" would NOT include moi.
Duel monitors, keyboard, scanners, printers (not wireless, but, VERY VERY small). Nope, I need a desk, heavens, I even spread out to the table and the kitchen island in the 3295. SIGH (Yep, having WAYYY too much fun! )
Yea, I can accomplish all that sans desk. NOT!

Maybe the day of the cookie cutter floor plan needs to come to an end. I noticed some similar priced as the Big Sky at the Hershey show offer some flexibility in plans. Why not Montanas? As for 11/2 baths on the 3900 I have 5 toilets and a total of 9 sinks in the house so maybe something like that might work for me! LOL

I'll stick with my 3150RL thank you, I'd rather have the space in the living room.

We thought that the 1/2 bath in the rear area was overkill and that space could be better used a living area/storage space. There are already two sinks in the rear and two vanities could also be there. we do not care for the un enclosed john.Actually the extra sink in our 3402 is near useless but the vanity is priceless. we nEED a desk for the PC, that is a lockout. They ere taking notes as MOC'ers looked at the 3900. I predict changes.

After seeing the 3900FB at a show last year we carefully considered if the new floor plan was right for us. Since the show over six months ago we have been to a couple dealers and spent time walking through and just hanging out in this floor plan just to be sure it would meet our needs. We live in California and plan to dry camp quite a bit along the coast line. The 93 gals of black tank is a huge plus. Also the kids have no need to walk through our bedroom (in the middle of the night) to use our bathroom, they have everything they need down stairs.
Coming from a Cardinal 32TS travel trailer this floor plan is exactly what we have been saying we needed for the last five years. It all boils down to individual needs and its nice to have so many options to choose from. We are expecting to take delivery sometime in June and are very excited to hit the road.

We have one 3900FB in now. Many great improvements overall. LEDs , ledge of kitchen is tile same as floor. Front closet much more useful. Storage under bed greatly improved with Cedar lining. The desk is very well done ( drawer should be stained inside, IMHO). Furniture is better. Frameless windows are great. There appears to be no loss of living space. I was dubious before seeing the unit "in the flesh", but I am pleasantly surprised. It has G614s. Obviously, "K" is raising the standard. You must see the FB, there is nothing like it !

I don't know, we really liked the unit. Went all thru one at an RV show and we really liked it. If I had the money that is the one I would buy. The extra bathroom is kind of a waste for retired folks who don't camp with kids, but if you have kids it would be priceless.

Went in one last week at Myrtle Beach. If you have guests/kids stay with you this is the kind of plan you need. The living room is not downsized in this unit. Alpine actually has a great floor plan similar to this as well. We will keep what we have for a while though. When you trade you take a bath. I really wish Montana would make a couple more plans that haul golf carts. We didn't like the Mountaineer THT's plan.
