I-85 Reopens through Atlanta

Early Sunday morning all lanes of I-85 through downtown Atlanta were reopened. The bridges that were destroyed by the fire 6 weeks ago are now new. Even though the bridge contractor received a huge bonus for completing the work early, now the community is asking why all improvements can't be made that fast

Big dollars can certainly affect one's priorities.

More money does make things better. When a bridge on the I-5 in western Fresno County, CA in 1995 washed out, the contractor got a huge bonus for building a new one in record time.
