Sooner or later it seems, hope you didn't have any damage.

Very unfortunate. First thing we did with our present coach is switch the tires before we picked it up and the one reason we ordered our new rig with the G614s on it from the factory. We would not leave home without them...

Hope you didn't get any damage or you weren't held up too long on the road.

Just joined the boom club last week..left the campsite ,,16 miles later while slowing down for a stoplight at about 15 mph..the big boom..no China bomb..it was a BF Goodrich.. Just minor damage.. They replaced the tire..it was not on recall list..

Happened to us on our 324RLQ in Maine during 2011, no warming, just boom, we then got G614s which were moved to current coach at trade.

We stopped quickly but the G614 is 14 ply compared to the china 10 ply tire a lot more tire and a lot more damage.
I just put on a whole new set of G614's, my other set we're almost 6 years old.

Hauled it home from Indiana, empty. Loaded for a 100 mile camping trip. weighed it. Came home, installed LT tires. Sold Marathon's with 800 miles on them for $350 on Craigs list. Net cost $650 for upgrade.

Marathon's weigh 37lbs. Replacements weigh 59lbs. Nuff said.

Friends of mine have a 2013 Montana with less than 1500 miles just had a Marathon blow. Damage to Monty is $7800 dollars. I am sold and shopping for G614 for my Montana. I found them on www.simpletire.com for $315.99 plus $18.02 shipping to Florida. Anyone find them cheaper?

When you do get your G614, I'd also get the guaranty for each tire. I got mine through America's tires if I would have gotten the tire Warranty at 16.00 a tire they would have replaced my blowout free.

That is interesting Jack. I have ask at two different tire dealers for road hazard warrenty. Both told me I couldn't get it if the tires are installed on a trailer. One was Sam's club, the other was an Independent Tire Dealer. I might have to look a little further as the warrenty can be a good deal. Has anyone else been told tire warrenties are not available for trailers? Jim

America's Tire offers a warranty on trailer tires. We have replaced all the tires on my sisters 5th wheel twice now on their dime. If you can get G614s there, be sure to get the warranty.

Check with CW in Ft. Myers. My buddy had them install 6 on his SOB Toy hauler 2 months ago. I am pretty sure he got them down to under $325.00 each installed. He kept his old tires to sell on Craig's List.
