Competition Features

Keystone -

Been watching the Heartland Big Horn 5ers that claim to give Montana a run for thier money! They loose so far with me, but there were some nice features Keystone should consider:
  • Euro chairs and foot rests as on option to the recliners
  • Rubber diamond plate floor in basement AND steel diamond plate lockable toolbox incorporated into the drop down side of the basement floor
  • entry light above the step
  • AC outlet just below the awning for awning lights
  • full drawer slides
  • new tailight design with LEDs and backup lights
  • fix the fridge door wood panel issue - very tacky display out there among the competition

Hey Brad, those are good ideas, and Keystone has incorporated at least one of them, the full drawer slides. Our drawers come out at least 1 1/2 inches past the cabinet.

I agree with Brad. Those items he mentioned would be nice, especially when you see comparable units with these items. The lighted entry steps are very very nice and a great safety issue too. The black fridge is a must GO. Can't believe Keystone is stooping low and putting those in the units instead of the wood fronts.

Hey Lonnie, I didn't know they changed the drawers - one down, six to go.

Cross your fingers Brad, maybe they're on a roll and just stumbled a bit on the fridge door.

Roy visits a Bighorn dealer during his working hours and they are big on getting those to the marketplace in a hurry and quality is extremely poor. The repair people have nothing good to say about them.

I really like the idea of an outlet close by to plug in the awning lights. Most everyone (if they're staying longer than overnight) plug in their lights. I mean it's a part of camping and that would make it so much easier. I also agree with everyone else, the black fridge needs to go bye-bye fast.
