Gel Coat Sealer/Wax

I have searched and find information that is about 2-years old on the forum. Wondering if there is any new and better product/technology out there for waxing or sealing the exterior gel coat. Being the first time for me not sure what product to use. I did research Perma Shield and if I read it right it requires 2 coats after the wash. That seems like a lot of ladder time. BTW, do you guys avoid or apply this stuff to the rubber seals as well?

I use ZEP on the boat and the fiver, have for years. Get it squeaky clean then apply with a microfiber cloth and let dry. No buffing and it dries pretty quick. It is a polymer, so no yellow with age. Lasts from 6 mo to a year. It will also seal up gaskets around the slides, though I use a conditioner spray.

I have had great luck with NuPolish. For rubber seals, I use 303

Im getting ready to try some woody-wax, the kind you spray on the brush when the camper is still wet.

I use Turtle wash and wax. Been using it for 6.5 years and the rig still looks great. Easy to use with no rubbing or buffing. Have never waxed the rig but then it is stored inside. Have another friend that does the same with his 12 year old motor home. Still looks great and it sits outside. Jim

Look at McGuire's wax for RV and Boats
There is a compound to remove the chalk on the gel-coat and then the wax that they have has a oil in to replenish the oils in the gel coat.
Our is a 05 and the front and back look like they are new.
Then use the cananuba wax on the sides.
It takes some time to do it, but if you are going to do it , do it right.
Boats and RV are gel coat, so look at products that are for gel coat.
I am sorry there is no easy trick, just elbow time required.
