State and National CG guide?

Forgive me if I did not do a complete search....could not find what I was looking for. I want to start planning the 3 months I'll be using/living inmy new 3400. Want to stay as much as possible in state and national parks. So....
Does a CG guide exist specifically for state and national parks that has RV information and size limits? If not, is there a user-friendly site without having to go to each park site for informaion?
And while I'm at it, what are the better CG directories? I know these are silly questions but I am 400 miles to the nearest book store and can't just run out, look on the shelf and buy the best one!
Thanks!

Globaldouglas,

Here are a few sites of interest:
http://www.nps.gov/ - National Parks Service
http://www.forestcamping.com/ - Nation Forests
http://www.freecampgrounds.com/
Check each state for parks and campgrounds.

Campground directories:

I think it's a good question. I like the Trailer Life directory for information about available campgrounds and length limits, utility availability, etc.

If you are under 62 (65?) you can buy a national park annual pass for $50. That gets you into the parks for free, although you still pay for the campgrounds. It also gets you into many other places run by the NPS. With that you get a guide listing the various parks and historical sites they run but it doesn't give you any real info other than location.

Most national park campgrounds do not have full hookups. A few do. We normally stay just outside the park in a private rv park but many like to stay inside the park. Because we generally stay anywhere from a week to a month we need full hookups.

TL also lists state parks and Corps of Engineer parks. I'll also do a google search on, for example, "Kansas State Parks." That will usually turn up links with the information you seek.
