Pottys

I'm sick and tired of putting campa chem and porta pak down the holding tank with no results on odor control. I've been doing this for years and I'm at wits end on odor control. Is there a commercial product out there that will do the job? I'll put a gallon in if it will work?????

A quick question, is the exhaust fan on and the door closed when you flush? If so, try turning the fan off when you flush. The fan sucks vapors from the holding tank up through the drain and it stinks, literally and figuratively.

We've used Happy Camper for 5 years now and are completely happy with it. We buy it once a year in the largest size, but this will give you a tryout if you decide to try it: https://www.amazon.com/Happy-Campers...tank+treatment

We currently use bio-active, which works well for use. Want to try happy camper...just haven't gotten my act together to try it. John

X2 on the Happy Campers. We have been using it for about 4 years and not one trace of odor.

x3 on Happy Camper. Used for at least 5 years, won't use anything else. Have tried various others prior to discovering Happy Camper and have never looked back.

We use Aqua Chem Liquid in our Montana and the Sailboat; smells like Flowers!

Still have 3 quarts at home of some green or blue Bio stuff; didn't work for me but had good ratings on Amazon.

X4 on Happy Camper
They make an Extreme Cleaner, start with that or have your black tank cleaned by a pro.
Also check your black tank vent, maybe partly plugged?

I've been using Odorlos for years without a problem. Before that, Aqua-kem which also seemed to work ok. Don't know about the others mentioned here.

We are full timers and have been almost 6 years. We use a wonderful product called WATER and never have an odor problem! I do have one of those devices mounted on the roof stack that shifts with the wind and is supposed to "draw" the gases up and away from the roof.

X2....I am guessing your vent could be plugged. Have you been on top to inspect it? Cap still on it? Wasp nest got it blocked?

Same here, Odorlos. I have even premixed a solution are poured it down the kitchen grey tank. Stuff works great!

Another vote for Happy Camper. Note that if you ever want to buy Happy Camper and they are out of stock get Happy Boater. It's the same thing.

Use the Happy Camper to be a Happy Camper. Been using for years. Also can be used to clean gray tanks.
