You can count us in if the timing is good for us. If we know a couple of weeks in advance we can go just about anywhere. We are only 45 minutes (depending on traffic) from Chicago, so something within a few hours would be great for us (Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin?, Ohio?). We enjoyed the last rally. I know that the parks in Indiana and Michigan fill up quickly, so advanced planning is necessary.
Sounds fun. Let us know when.

Doesn't seem like we can go anywhere in a couple of hours. It took us 2 days to get to the rally. But, we would do it again.

We also would like to see a regional chapter - great idea. I think some sort of poll should be taken to determine the states/provinces involved so that everyone is on the same page and not jumping to conclusions about who is involved here. We also agree that 3 - 5 hours (+/-) travel time, especially for those still working, is a reasonable limit (that could be modified, say for 4-day get togethers).

I think it has been voiced many times already that most would agree with the National rally being held East coast, West coast, and at Goshen every 3rd year. Fair for everyone. The odd year (West coast) could be filled in by our own regional rally...

Glenda and I would be interested depending on where it is located. Glenda still works so for us it would have to be located within 3-4 hours of Hamilton Ontario.

Hopefully the folks planning regional rallies will all publish the whens and wheres. We'd attend those we can when we're in the general area or can detour our plans to make it.

Like Steve and Vickie, Margaret and I would like to attend any or all chapter outings. We're from Michigan and also plan to stay in Fl. this winter. Post the outing and let's see what happens.

Ok folks, Chris and I are interested. We live north of Columbus Ohio (center of the state)about 45 miles. We also agree that more than 3-4 hours of travel time and we would be looking at a 3 day weekend. We are a long way from retirement so work does get in the way of a good camping weekend. There are several great campgrounds in Ohio and lower Michigan that we have visited and we would recommend. I dont know how soon anything will come together. Seems like we may need to see how many are interested and shoot for a spring get together.

We would also like to see a Great Lakes Chapter and be part of it. We live in the central part of the lower peninsula and we are both retired so we can go anywhere for some fun. Please keep us posted and hope this will be a go.

We would be very interested in a Great Lakes Chapter. We're both still working and will be parked at a local campgournd for the season but would certainly take time for a long weekend with other Montana Owners. We went to the '04 Rally and had a great time.

My wife and I also both work. But we are game to attend something. We are used to traveling a little longer, so we could likely handle Ohio or Michigan. We are on the western suburbs of Chicago.

As a member from the Northern snow bound part of the Great Lakes state I would like to see a Great Lakes chapter. It would give those of us who can't make the big rally a chance to meet and swap stories. As soon as I can get my wife to retire time will no longer be an issue. I have no problem getting to any of the G.L. states except maybe Ohio. We are true BLUE UofM people. Let us know.
