like Rondo, my 2005 2955RL has a grilled vent just above the basement (where the batteries are located) door on the drivers side. There should be tubes from the battery box to the vent. The purpose is to get the hydrogen gasses to the outside where there is less of a chance of an electrical spark igniting them. It also gets the corrosive gases away from things that you care about (wiring, hydraulic pump, etc.)

I can not find the vent hoses for the enclosed boxes listed at the sites for the boxes. Do they come with each box or do you have to order them.

On Edit: After further inspection I found my vent hose from the vent tucked up in the top of the battery compartment. I have only a single hose. It appears the hose might come with the vent that was installed at the factory.
