Area attractions/activities

Greetings campers...I've been purusing the posts and see there's lots of "excitement in the air" about the Gettysburg rally. Just wanted you to know it is a anniversary year and there will be more things to do than we can possibly cover during our rally. What I have done, though, is gotten help from the local Visitor's Bureau who will be providing us with a welcome packet which will provide brochures and tons of information about what to see. Of course, you are welcome to do your research, but we will have something for you as well. Our agenda includes plenty of free time for your exploring...there are things like horse back riding, ghost walks, great restaurants, outlet shopping, wineries, antigue shopping, presidents museum, just to name a few. I'm working on organizing a bus tour and need at least 40 to get a a discounted rate. If you are interested in this, please send me a note and I'll start getting that event organized and scheduled.

Thanks for your patience as we get the details worked out.

UPDATE TO BUS TOUR - We can get a bus tour for $20.00 per person if we have 40 people sign up.... Please let me know if you are interested.
Best regards,
Jeana

We took the bus tour a few years back and it is great having the guide with us. I strongly recommend it.
Please count Ann and I for it.

Sign us up for the bus tour also, sorry I did not see this thread sooner but we are out west in a non internet friendly zone so we were out of touch ever since we left Quartzsite AZ. Also tried to reserve campsite today but got my time zones confused so will have to do that tomorrow am.
