TV as Computer Monitor

The new LCD TV in the Montana is also a VGA monitor. I found the VGA cable in the drawer and routed it to the laptop on the 3400 desk. Also added a wireless keyboard and mouse so I can sit across the room and participate in the MOC! I had to lower the resolution on the laptop so I could actually see the text.

This may not be a good thing - as I don't need any more reasons to be on the couch

Brad,

Now you'll have to get some cool PC games to play on that big screen TV!! Dory will never get you in the house again. If you're like me, you can designate the Monty as the "dog house". Then being in the "dog house" isn't such a bad thing.

For those shopping for TV's Id like to add that many brands of flatscreens today are also 12v DC units that use a transformer to plug in to 110v ac. Our last fiver had a nice LCD that was configured this way, we wired a 12v dc outlet and had TV available any time.

Good to know BUT I already spend way too much time on this puter. The last thing I need is to kick back in the recliner and get online.
I also remember many years ago having a Commodore 64 computer which also worked on the TV. Only had one puter and one TV, Lorraine wasn't to happy as I was always on the puter and she couldn't watch TV. I ain't never going back to that. NO WAY JOSE!
