RV rear hitch

What hitch do those of you that tow boats and trailers behind their Monty's install. I'm thinking about the Curt 13703 from e-trailer! Suggestions????

If you or a buddy are handy with a welder ... make one. I used 3" square tube with 1/4" wall 4" angle for the side brackets. Bolted to the frame with six 1/2" bolts. It's towed my 2000# squirt boat for years.

I'd check with Keystone or the frame manufacturer prior to pulling anything behind the Montana.

Mike, I am not sold on the brackets, if you measure where they go, and it is a good fit, then it probably would work fine. My frame mounting brackets are a lot heavier. The rating depends on the solid frame mount. Other than that, I like the unit.
My adjustable hitch kit has heavy solid 2-bolt frame mounts.
It depends on how the frame access is where it is mounted.

Mike, My hitch is welded to the bottom of the frame. I would think a person could get firm measurements to allow you to build it off the trailer but allow you to bolt it on to the frame if a person wanted. There is 3-4 photos of the hitch in the link to my web album below.
