New to the Montana World

Making my purchase this afternoon on a 2019 Montana 3791RD. So excited to be upgrading. Selling my Keystone Everest which has been a great camper to start into the 5th wheel business.

Looking forward to much more room and storage than we previously enjoyed. Also looking to hear from other owners as to any issues to be aware of and I can contribute my knowledge whenever possible.

Hoping to see of few of you on the road.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. You have picked a very popular floor plan that has a boat load of storage. Be sure to do a very thorough PDI.

Consider having a professional inspection before signing paperwork - good insurance unless the dealer is your brother

Welcome to MOC.
The PDI (PRE DELIVERY INSPECTION) also has another meaning, PRETTY DARN IMPORTANT!!! Be sure to pick your new unit apart during your PDI, it will make your first outing a lot more enjoyable.

If you have a good enough friend video the PDI by dealer - since this is not your first, it will be easier - mine went 90 minutes being a newbie ... Thermostat and leveling are biggest for me - my t-stat changed to centigrade - was pushing buttons to hard

Be sure to check on the tires. Don’t allow them to send you out with junk tires.

Oh yes welcome to the forum.

Anything in particular to be looking for? Noticed T-Stat and leveling system mentioned. Anything else to be leery of?

I have heard of others (friend) having issues with the T-stat. The leveling will be new to me so I will be paying close attention there.

Thank you!

In short check EVERYTHING! Every drawer, knob, switch, valve, finish, fit, window, glass, trim, lightbulb, plumbing fixture, drain, etc.. See a pattern? EVERYTHING

make sure you have the 800 phone number for the leveling company and know their hours and you know ALL the resets
