Door hold open hook

This may have been beat to death already but I don’t know where to start looking for the answer.
We have a 3582rl and would like to install a door hold open device so the door won’t keep blowing shut. Has anyone done this and is there backing in the wall for the screws.
Thanks, woodturner

There is not material in the side walls, but the latch doesn’t exert much pull unless you try to close the door without release

$8, delivered to your door. No problems after two years.

I used the same type of latch but used 3M VHB tape to hold on to the side of the door and the outside wall. The VHB tape is "Very High Bond" once it is there it is not coming off It is very good tape.

I put on the ugly door holder, not happy, but it works!

I use an auto body repair suction cup attached to the side of the trailer and a short bungee cord wrapped around the handle when it gets real windy, when it isn't real windy I don't have them on at all. No holes no plastic or metal sticking out to get in the way of washing/waxing and catching your cloths... Think the suction cup cost me $6...

Put a chrome one on our old rig. Short screws didn't hurt anything.
