Wiring Diagram & Schematics for 2018 3721RL

Does anyone have a good wiring and schematics of a 2018 3721RL or know where to find one?

The short answer is they don't exist.

This has been a desire for years by us owners. Do a Search for "wiring diagram" and read the hundreds of posts on this topic. There has to be some kind of diagram/plan at the factory but they are insistent they are not available. It appears each Old World Craftsman wires as they please.

Truely, we have found over time that two rigs of the same model year and the same model will have circuits wired differently.

It is NOT April 1st yet, so why are you trying to prank us into believing there is a wiring diagram or schematic for the coaches?

Wires?

I often look in wonder at my beautiful color coded wires.
Correct that - I look AND wonder about those color coded wires.

I understand why they don’t have wiring diagrams. That would require actual blueprints be made and then someone get them out either paper or on a screen and then go by them. All of this takes time and drives up cost. When all that is required is everything actually work when the camper is finished. They have a problem with loose connections and things like that but not so much of things working. How much more would the average buyer be willing to pay to know wiring diagrams were available? I suspect not much can we say nothing. They just aren’t required.

Supposedly, since at least 2018, the Montana's are coming with color coded and numbered wiring which is supposed to make troubleshooting easier. Page #8 of this brochure- https://www.keystonerv.com/media/914...jan2018_lr.pdf

Granted, it is not a diagram or schematic, but it at least is better than just scabbing different colored wires together from one end of the rig to the other.

In our unit it appears that they can definitely wire a birds nest.

It wouldn't matter if they had diagrams, they wouldn't follow them anyway. If they did give you a diagram then you could prove they did it wrong.

Yeah, and each "Old World Craftsman" has a different idea how to do it, usually dependent on how much beer they had the night before, what day of the week it is and how much wire they've got on hand before having to go get more.

Well in a S&B the builder is suppose to follow a building code. RV's not so much!

Funny, but I do have a full set of prints, plumbing, electrical, trusses and framing.
We got lucky, the builder we had was great. We have not had a single issue with it and we had it built 14 years ago.

When our S&B was built we reviewed the wiring. We moved and added switches as needed to fit our needs.

I have a 295RKD Montana Mountaineer. It is new to me (1 1/2) years. I searched for any info on wiring, hydraulics, TV wiring, etc. I found nothing. My best source was this forum and all the knowledgeable people on it. They have solved many little problems for me. Thank you for your help and advice

Last year I requested a schematic for the cable/satellite TV wiring. In past years I have been able to get wiring diagrams of other systems in the RV emailed to me. Call *(866) 425-4369‬
