Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Wanted to find out if anyone can recommend/not recommend a brand of tire pressure monitoring system. Had a left front truck blow out on I10 out of San Antonio on a Friday afternoon that really tested my skills. I'd like to get a system for my Dodge 2500 and Montana but want to be sure I get something that's going to work. CW has the Hopkins TMS and 3 of the 4 reviews are not very favorable.

I agree with Jack. There are other systems that you can buy for less money, like at CW but I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for.

Pressure Pro here. Saved my BACON twice while I had the Missions on, coming out of Alaska on the AlCan hiway. One was a beginning flat and the other was a blowout. Worth every pennny in my mind.

We've only had our Pressure Pro system for a very short period of time and have only been on the road twice. But the piece of mind that I had while driving was absolutely unlimited. On our first trip of 85 miles from Desert Hot Springs, CA to Murietta, CA, we had one tire on the curb side of the rig that had a slow leak in it and I was aware of it -- simply because I had to air it up every couple of months over the entire year of 2008 while parked in Desert Hot Springs.
Having the Pressure Pro system monitoring the tire set my mind at rest. Periodically I would check the system to see how that tire was doing and it told me that everything was okay. Prior to our second trip up to Victorville, CA I had the tire repaired. Had a 3/4 inch staple in the tread.
Prior to getting the system, I kept thinking, "What do I need it for?" Now I'm glad I have it.

I agree about pressure Pro. I run a quick check every morning. Confidence in your tire pressures each day is invaluable.

We selected the Hawkshead wireless TPMS system for our triple axle utility trailers at work as well as our 53 foot highbed and two 5000 gallon tank trucks. So far we have found the system works flawlessly giving accurate and reliable pressure and temperature readings. We also purchased the option signal boosters that sit near the front of each trailer. I will be going with the same on my Montana

I also have the Pressure Pro which was purchased in Florida just before we went home. It saved us as we were taking the bypass around Atlanta.Without it, I don't know how much damage would have been done.

Pressure Pro for me, it really does what is claimed, a little bit pricey but worth every cent for piece of mind and security. Go to pressurepro.com for more info.

We have used the Pressure Pro for the past 3 years. It has already paid for itself in peace of mind as well as notifying us of tire pressure issues. Another item to carry is a good air pressure pump--I have both a AC version that I use often and a DC version incase I need it anywhere on the road. I have found it almost impossible to find a service center that can pump 80PSI. I have stopped looking -- although a few RV Parks have good air pressure systems.
