Awning UV protection while stored
This could save your awning if you don't have the Alumiguard from Carefree of Colorado. It is a plastic cover that slides over the awning while not in use. Looks good to me...

Looks like a great product. I wish the previous owners of ours had done something like this as we figure our awning might make it through the winter, but we'll have to replace it in the spring.

Ozz-- It doesn't say how long these clip-over sections are, that I can find! Any idea on how long they are? When not in storage, do we store them at the stick or take them with you? I'm with drsmart-- I use the 303 protective on it--IF I Remember to put it on before it gets to cold or to dirty before I think of it! I just picked up another spray bottle of the 303 at the Fall Rally! I like this stuff!

I ordered them today and if I read it right there are are 5- 4ft sections and they can overlap each other. I will repost when they arrive to let you know if they are what I thought they were.

Yes, they overlap, I saw it in one of the pictures, the spray-on is good, but the covers provide the very best protection, Probably much better for your health, than inhaling that over-spray as well.

Worry not. I pour the 303 onto a sponge and apply to vinyl awnings, rubber seals and graphics. You can wear rubber gloves if concerned about skin contact. The 303 goes further this way with no overspray.
