Leveling systems

I'm researching the auto leveling systems available for our Montana. The nearest authorized Lippert dealer is 1400 miles away, but they have the 6 point Level up system...
What do you recommend? How much will this cost? Is it worth it?
I truly appreciate any info/help you provide!

We're a long way from a Lippert dealer also and plan on having it done when we attend the fall MOC rally in Goshen in late September. Maybe we'll even be able to get a rally discount, maybe not, but since we want to attend the rally anyway that's the plan.

Your best bet may be to plan to attend the Fall Rally as DQDick is thinking of doing. But there are at least a couple of other outfits produce the same type device. HWH is one and Big Foot is another well known producer. We just bought a 2012 model that came with the leveling system already installed. Good luck. Dennis

From what I understand, the six-point is much better than a four-point system from the standpoint of more levelers equals less frame stress. Others that have done a retrofit can chime in on the pricing.

I was one of the early guinne pigs. Got ours at a very special rally price. In my opinion, it would be worth it at twice the price, especially if you have any kind of issue that makes setting up or taking down difficult. It is just so much easier and quicker.

Sold my JT stabilizers and my king pin tripod and just use the Level Up for stability. I agree that your best chance of reduced pricing is at the fall rally in Goshen. It's the best up grade I have made to my 2008 Big Sky. That and LED lighting.

We had the Lippert 6-point system installed after last year's Goshen rally. I love it. The auto-level feature lets me get on with other set-up activities and not have to play with the levelling process. The auto-retract alway initially sets the kingpin about 1 1/2" high but that may be because I drop off empty and reconnect with full tanks. Last year's rally price was basically free installation.

I heartilly recommend coming to the rally for planned upgrades you may have. Great pricing and factory installation. It does not get much better than that.

Our Montana was the first to have the Lippert System added on. We have setup with the system more than seventy times. We did get a very good discount, but at almost any price it is worth it.

Thank you for all your replies! Goshen sounds like a lot of fun. I have learned so much at this web site and I've been camping with my folks, then with my own rig, most of my life!!!
