Slides 2007 3495 RK

When taking the slides in and out the relay is hesitating more often now and I have to wait to use the in/out switch. I had read about this problem many months ago and have forgotten what the solution is. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Very common problem with the auto reset circuit breaker for the hydralic pump. You can replace the auto reset circuit breaker or double up on it like in this picture: http://s906.photobucket.com/user/BB_..._1136.jpg.html
This is the service bulletin from lippert describing how to up grade: http://www.lippertcomponents.com/LIP/0058.pdf
Hope this helps. Jim

I had this problem from time to time and the following was what I did to solve it for me, and what I checked for.

1) The condition of the battery/batteries is very important, make sure they are fully charged, low voltage = higher amp draw.

2) If you use a remote to put your slides in and out, make sure the remote battery is good.

3) Whenever possible I hook up to shore power prior to moving the slides in/out, this gives me the additional 90amps from my converter to assist the batteries.

4) Rather than doubling up the existing circuit breakers I bought a single 100 amp manual reset breaker from an auto supply house. It is sitting on my desk as I type this as I have not had to install it by ensuring the 3 things above are as they should be. It is in my tool box in the 5er when we travel, just in case.

I would recommend you purchase a manual reset if you can find one and wish to replace your existing one, as per the Lippert bulletin.
