If you place the knob in the middle position it will empty both tanks before it turns RED.
Someone else may have another take on it.
Mike
With my regulator placing the lever in the middle position draws from both tanks simultaneously and therefore eliminates the switchover feature. It drains both tanks until they are empty and turns red. This is sometimes used with a generator as it supplies a slightly higher volume of gas by drawing from the two tanks at once.

Michael, that well may be true, don't forget we have a 3750FL, so the front to me is the back to you (I think???). Hopefully Navybanker can get it sorted out and let us know whether I had any idea of what I was talking about based on my memory.

Bingo, our ACs and furnace seem to work pretty well, but the thermostat can often be a challenge to figure out...as far as fore and aft, it took me a while before I realized which end of the trailer our thermostat considered zone 1 and zone 2! Michael
