Brake controller
I have a Hayes Engage electric brake controller. The problem with it is it is showing "SC" code for short circuit. It shows this code continually, trailer plugged in or not, brakes applies or not. the manual says that it should only show this code when the brakes are applied and there a short in the system.
I have this fear that the controller is shot, but I am hoping some one can tell me different. We have been stationary since May and I don't want to break camp to check the brakes. But, we will be on the road in 2 weeks, and I need to get it fixed.
