2018 Utah Spring Rally Baggie Breakfast

2018 Utah Spring Rally BAGGIE BREAKFAST

(Hi folks. I have signed my wife, her sister and myself to help coordinate this breakfast (They don't know about this yet! ). I'm not sure who has the master schedule and whether we have a clubhouse or area to do this). I took Carl's suggestion and copied the original thread from an earlier rally. Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks)

9:00 A.M. Sunday, June 24th, Location: Clubhouse

A Baggie Breakfast is a MOC tradition of placing raw eggs in a baggie with other great ingredients, boiling in a water bath for a few minutes, and making an omelette. Bring a one quart Zip Lock freezer bag with either one, two, or three eggs in the bag. Add your favorite ingredients, and we will cook your omelette for you. We will need more side dishes, potatoes, sweet roll, coffee cake, ham, fruit, etc. than ingredients for the eggs, cheese, peppers, onions, etc.

Please bring your own plates, utensils, and coffee cups.

We also need two large coffee pots, several turkey fryers and volunteers to cook the omelettes.

Please sign up below for what you would like to bring.

Omelette Ingredients:

Carl n Susan - sausage
Drifty1 - shredded cheese and bacon bits
jackel1959 - chopped ham and cheese
MelsJoy - Mel and Joy - chopped sweet bell peppers

captdirt - Tom & Teresa - chopped mushrooms

Scottz - Alta and Scott - fried potatoes with green chiles
GregN - Blueberry coffee cake
cmjone9 - Cal and Leanne - muffins or banana/blueberry bread
linnea - mild salsa for omelettes
Gary/Jennifer - Fruit plate
RonD - homemade banana nut bread
Bish - Steve & Sharon - cinnamon bread

Juice, Coffee, Champagne:

adams7806 - Marsha and Kirk - champagne and juices
tumbleWeeds - Joni and Roger - champagne and fruit
MelsJoy - more champagne. Oh boy!!!
Gary/Jennifer - coffee
Rookey - Mike, Shari & Lori - milk and coffee creamer

Turkey Fryers & Cooks:

Carl Youngren, Jim Bender, Larry Ambuehl (Drifty1), Bill Nappier, and Mel Thompson.

Thanks for volunteering! Let me see if I can help. We have 5 turkey cookers scheduled if I can remember who they all are. Let's start with Jim Bender, Larry Ambuehl, Bill Nappier, Mel Thompson and Carl Youngren (that be me). That should be more than enough capacity for the event.

Also put us down to provide sausage for the breakfast.

Thanks again for doing this!
