Wet bolt ?

I have a 2014 Montana 3625 with the lippert level up system . Does anyone pull there wet lots and check the bushings and holes for elongation . Or do you just lube them and go on

Hi

I have had problems with our wet bolts both wear and failures. We carry a spare set as well as the swing hangers.

We have high mileage on our trailer (90,000) and even though I had some very bad experience when it was new ($20,000 in the first 18 months because Keystone would not stand behind their warranty) I am impressed with how the house is holding up. I did have some frame problems that I repaired. But over all I have been having pretty good luck with the unit.

Regardless I will never own another Thor product again.

As noted already, just lube once a year. John

Dexter actually recommends lubing the wet bolts every 3 months/3000 miles.

I had the rear wet bolt on the passenger side break and it shifted the rear axle back when going forward and axle forward when backing up.The inside of the tire wore nearly slick so i don't know how long it had been that way. I had been thinking about the is suspension from mor-ryde then decided to go ahead and have it done this past march after this bolt broke. This mod plus the disc brakes are the best improvement you can do as for as safety. I installed sailun tires at the dealer so that is a great improvement also. If you don't do to much long distance travel then you might not need the brakes and is suspension but i seem to travel a minimum of 600 miles from home and many times much further. It's nice not worrying about wet bolts and axles breaking.
