I have never noticed that in any Montana. Ours is 2010 and still smells good but not offensive like formaldehyde. Being a part time rv sales person , I am in alot of new coaches , all brands, and not so many have that anymore. When I do notice it is when they have been closed up in very hot weather. Larry
