Hi everybody me and my wife are new members. We have been retired for 4 years now. Live on a 5 acre ranch in The Dalles Oregon, near the Columbia River. We are selling our ranch and put everything in storage, by a Montana 3075RL and a new truck and travel for 4 or 5 years. We will be full timers once we start our journey.
Last year we went to Alaska's we went by way of the Ferry and my 4Runner, spent a month seeing as much as we could. Staying in motels and lodges all the way. That is when we decided to travel with a 5th wheel. This way we can unhook the 5th wheel and sight see with the truck and not have to get back anywhere.
P.S. The picture was taken when we took a trip to the Canadian Rockies with Moraine Lake in Canada.

We are just info-shopping, soon-to-be Newbies right now. We like this forum because of myriad information we are getting on the different rigs before we do buy.

to the MOC. You made a good decision to join MOC and learn as much as you can before you buy your 5er and your TV(tow vehicle). Sounds like you have a Plan - go for it.

Good luck selling the ranch. We are trying to sell our one acre.

Se ya around the Forum.

Welcome to another Oregonian. We live in the far southern region of the state. There is much to see and do right here that we are still hoping to do ourselves.
