Rechargeable Flashlight
Tried to use my flashlight today and picked it up turned it on and the light just slowly went out. Now it won't come on at all, when I put it back in the charger the light comes on. Is there a battery that you can change?? Or can you just replace the whole thing?? Does camping world carry things like this? Thanks for all information.

Pau said that it probably needs a new recharable battery. They don't last forever you know. Paul said that the only ones he knows of that work all the time are the kind that come with directions. They say close cover before striking....LOL He can be so dumb sometimes.....Probably be best just to get a whole new flashlight setup...

Thanks Kathi for the reply, I kind of thought that I just did not know anything about that kind of flashlight. Did you know that the head of that light moves to direct the light? just pull down on the top. We did not know it until we was taking it apart today.

OOurs hasn't worked since Day 1 and we just ignore it. Not enough of a problem to go back to the dealer. They replaced the flashlight once but it must be in the charger.

Got one like everyone else, but we don't rely on it . Most of the time, I forget it is there. We use the shakable light that doesn't need a battery. When you shake it, it passes a magnet through a coil and creates enough energy to light up for 5+ minutes. Then you just shake it again as needed.

Ours hasn`t worked since day 1 also. We use a regular flashlight and keep it in the closet next to the entrance door. Its a cheap flashlight anyway, we thought maybe it was popping out and not making good contact with the charger when we are traveling. When we got to our destination I made sure it was seated in the charger securely and checked it the next day and it didn`t work, but it looks great!!

Our has not worked since day one also. Took it back to the dealer for replacement, this was two months ago and it somehow it got lost in the shuffle. We don't miss it and will do without it. My opinion is that it is not a very good light.

Wow, guys!
We have never had any problem with ours, and so far, knock on wood, it still is charging.
I don't think this subject has come up before, very interesting.
Have no solution for ya, just surprised, that's all.

Ours has worked without any problems for over a year as well....knock on wood! I usually partially pull it out of the socket when it is fully charged and then push it down for a 'bit' every little bit. Good directions???

Ours lasted roughly 18 months. I used to use it a lot. But it's been dead for well over a year now. I wish I'd thought to mention that while at the factory service center. Maybe they'd have given me a new one or could tell me where I could buy one. I found it quite handy. Now I keep a maglite in the bottom of the entry closet, within easy reach.

Ours works well too. I like the flip head on it. It is small enough to get in the tight quarters.

If the rechargable lite is a option I don't want it.
