Suspension

So... I figured with about 10,000 miles on our 2017 Montana 3750Fl, I would replace the "china Bombs", have the wheel bearings repacked, and install the MorRyde suspension upgrade kit
That is the kit that replaces the 1/4" thin spring shackles with 1/2" thick ones, and replaces the dry bolts with greasable wet bolts and new bronze bushings.
I was absolutely amazed and discouraged by what I found.... The spring shackle mounting holes, which are supposed to be ROUND were totally oval, like a racetrack...
The bronze bushings were worn paper thin on one side of every bushing (all 14)
If you haven't taken a real good very close look at the suspension on your rig, do it now!!! I am about to take a 1,000 mile trip... I probably would have been stuck on the side of the road (I-95) judging by the condition of the parts.... Again, this is a 2017 unit with just about 10,000 highway miles........
Fortunately, the wheel bearings looked great, cleaned and repacked (by hand) with Mobil 1 synthetic grease...

Good heads up! Sounds like Keystone engineered that one just right to get it through warranty.

If you had bronze bushings, I think you should have already had wet bolts with the zerk fittings. When you replace the parts, you should be greasing all the fittings at least every 3,000 miles. That is the interval recommended by MorRyde.
