Thanks, Old Turbo.
Yes, we are eagerly awaiting the Garcia's opening. Dirty Al's son opened up a new place last Winter down Padre Blvd., it's pretty good, not the atmosphere as dad's place. Are you planning a move?

Wife and I are counting the days till we can leave on Dec. 31. I wish we were on the way now but it is a family thing on her side. I should also say I have to get all these leaves cleaned up as I live in the woods. I am also waiting for our 5vr to come back from the dealership it has a axle problem.

WE just completed a two week trip down to the Valley "Green Gate Grove" what a beautiful seniors park!!!!! We located the site we had purchased #423. For not having anything but a few pictures, I was very concerned!!!!! But that concern disappeared the second we drove through the community gate. WOW, what a nice park...
I completed a new sprinkler system and Christa completed her landscapeing, met many new friends and neighbors.. Really hated to leave and head back to KANSAS.... ah so goes life..... Today we met "DieselMan" (Carle and Penny) for GREAT BBQ in Kansas CIty, handed over the gate controller, shed key, community map and activity schedule for our #423 site Carle and Penny will be on it Dec through January. I know they will love the place and take care of things till be arrive in Feb... Life is GOOD!!!!!!!
Safe Travels my Friends John

We haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of you nice people but have enjoyed reading a lot of the posts. We will be headed to the Valley next week for our 8th winter at Paul's RV Park in Brownsville.

Kaye and I are presently located in Bert Ogden's RV service center in Mission awaiting roof repair (I met a live oak tree limb in Pleasonton, TX Monday the 12th.) which starts Monday and should finish Wednesday. Then we go to Mercedes to LLano Grande Lake Park Resort, site 2187, where we will be until January 13.

We arrived at Green Gate Grove, 700 Bentsen Palm Drive, Lot 219 last Friday the 14th however we have been unable to use the Wi-Fi here, a low signal. Just got a phone line hooked up today and we are using Dial up. A little slow but it works.

Dave and Carla arrived at Oleander Acres RV Resort in Mission on New Years' Day. At a stop at Crestview in Buda discovered we have a broken leaf spring so will have to break camp and get that fixed on the 9th. Spent the 2nd for about 4 hours washing all the Winter grime from the Monty and the Dodge. They really are white not grayish black with white salt mixed in. Hopefully will have the opportunity to meet some fellow MOCers' as we will be here until
Feb 1.

Since dieselguy couldn't make it down to the valley, Jack and I were able to stay at Hemlockusa site #423 at Greengate Grove here in Mission. It is our first trip to the valley, could do with less wind but at least temps are grand and no snow! Enjoying our time with Bill and Linda.

Safe travels,
Lorraine
