Extra curricular activities for RGVers

I am arranging a tour for MOC Winter Texans at the Museum of South Texas History, in Edinburg.

Fees are: Seniors 62 years and older $3.00 per person; Adults $4.00 per person.

Here is a web site to check out:

http://www.mosthistory.org/index.html

And here is a page with the great descriptions of the holdings, etc:

http://www.museumsusa.org/museums/info/1167525

I have arranged for a private group tour at 1 PM on February 2nd at the Museum. The gal in charge of tours will take us personally, a group of 10 to 20 is ideal. IF, we have more than 20 that are interested in going, she can arrange for a docent to take part of the group. This will necessitate another small fee (she did not quote me a price however), which I suggest we split evenly among the attendees. The tour will be about 2 hours long.

I MUST have a accurate head count on this by Monday, January 23rd at 5 PM. Please email me at lashbrooke5@yahoo.com if you will be attending.

Address is: 121 E. McIntyre, Edinburg, TX 78539

The Hidalgo County Historical Museum is also at this location, I am confused by the 2 names, maybe they changed it?? I know that the lady I talked to is listed on the web site for the Museum of South Texas History. Which ever, it sounds very interesting, and no, I have not been there, YET!

Remember you MUST let me know by the 23rd of January if you are gonna attend this extra curricular activity for MOC Winter Texans.

Are we caravaning or meeting there? If meeting there I think I either better use the gps or leave extra early!

Not sure Steve, have not progressed that far into the plans! Yes, we need to have you on time, so, maybe a caravan is in order, and we will put you IN THE MIDDLE of the pack!>G>G>G>

Hope that your memory is not short, but you told us you would remember that we wanted to go. Did not need to put it in writing. HAHA Marge
