Gen. exhaust

My buddy is installing a gen set in his Monty. I say the exhaust should go out the right side away from the bed room and he says to go out the left side under the bed slide. He says to much noise out the right because that is where you set. I say not the left under the slide because of possible fumes. But I don't know I don't have a generator mounted in mine. Help Mr. Wizard.

The prep area is on the left. I would not exhaust under my bed slide as I would like to wake up in the morning to see another day.

The Generator on our Montana was exhausted under the bed room slide. We had no problems but there is a risk. Can't remember the size of the pipe. The Gen on our coach is inch and a quarter. Used metal electrical conduit to build an above roof top stack for when we are parked. Works great.

If your friend hasn't mounted his generator yet have him contact me or you do it.I have a mount so it can be mounted outside and out of the way in a permanent possion.

Eagleone,

Where do you mount it? You don't use the compartment already prepped?
