Great looking job. Now I'm confused and torn between Timbrens and Air Ride Bags.
Please post if these make your ride softer when Unloaded. I would like to know.
Thanks
Hugh

Hugh, the ride is about the same unloaded, but I am not completely unloaded, my hitch is heavy, I have dual air bags, a slider hitch and a Bed Saver, along with a tool box full of power and hand tools, pipe wrenches and even a wrecking bar.
I had the air bags on my '06 Ford truck, I liked them, but the passive system I have now will suit my needs better.

Have you dropped the camper in the bed to see how they handled the weight, how much drop? Looking forward to your post after you pull the camper which I guess will be awhile yet.

Put a set of Timbrens on my 03 Dodge 2500HD QC longbed. Had a little sag when hooked up prior to the timbrens, now a very level vehicle and trailer. Same empty ride as before the timbrens. The Timbrens set about 2 inches above the axel and don't come into contact until enough weight in added to the truck. Ride when hooked up is better than when empty. Would do it again.

Ozz, great install just like everything you do. But one question why do you need them, I would have figured 08 Ford was even stronger than my 05, I have no rear sag when I am, hooked up.
