PLease Help Running Speaker Wire

Howdy,

I have a dilemma that I can't seem to figure out. My electronics are in a slideout on one side of the rv and I want to run rear speaker wire to a slideout directly opposite. I know how to run the wire through the ceiling. I just can't figure out how to keep the wire from "drooping" or pulling out when the slides move in and out.

I'd rather not have to hide the wires each and every time I move the trailer's slides.

Any ideas?

I discovered by accident that the speaker wires for the bedroom speakers come out of the bottom of the slide. They are in a loom next to the slide wiring into the frame. You could do something similar, wires out of one slide, through the frame, into the other slide.

If you have access to the roof area across the RV, you could use small springs to pull the wire back as the slide comes in. A simple old fashion screen door spring should do the trick.

I think the wireless system is a good answer. we have it in our home and it works well.

A wireless speaker system requires power at the speaker doesn't it? This may not be practical in Bigbob7777's case because he might not want to mess with finding a way to power the wireless speakers, too.

Bob, can you run the wire across under the rig and use the flex cable holding system as the means to keep your wires out of the way? With some difficulty maybe you can run the wires into the wire holders in both slides, the trick would be how to get the wires to the other side and keep them safe from damage as the slides extend and retract. I hope you can find a path.

On the wireless system,all you need is a power source 110V outlet to run the receiver at the speakers. There should be one available in thet area,
