We also have the double door Norcold. The doors on the refigerator section would not seal well, often popping open and then the warning alarm would go off. Got some foam insulation tape and installed on the inside of the doors top and bottom, and that took care of that problem. Cooling improved significantly. Since yours is new, I would take back to the dealer as quickly as possible and let them deal with it. Ours runs fine at 5.

We have the exact problem. With the setting at 9 the freezer stays at 10 to 14 degrees but the fridge only gets to the low 40's high 30's.
We have a small circulation fan on the inside but that does not make a difference.
Is the a way to adjust the doors to make them tighter other than putting foam on them?
Hate to have to bring our "home" into the shop for something like this!

Be sure the thermistor is on the fins. Ours works great even in the 114 degree weather for weeks at a time. Call Keystone and discuss the problem and let them refer you to a dealer near you. We've never been near or had work done by our dealer since we bought our rig, but Keystone took care of us on several major problems.

Yep, the thermistor is on the fins...fins actually will get some frost. I will have to call Keystone and see what they can tell me.

My retired Sears service tech told me to try either/or but not both;
Apply baby powder to the seals or apply vaseline.

Just had our cooling unit replaced in our 2011 Norcold 1210. CW extended warranty covered it but had to pay 50 for the deductible and 145 for the shipping but glad it covered it because otherwise would have been close to 1500. Get it checked while it under warranty!!

Ok, so I called Keystone CS and spoke with Kristi. Very pleasant and very helpful. She directed me to a local Keystone dealer here in the NE, Pocono RV, said to speak with Jerry and if they can't help to call back.
Called them and spoke with Jerry, explained my dilema that the freezer is running perfect, very cold, like 14 degrees cold and that the frig was only running at 42 or so. He asked how I was taking the temperature and I told him with a digital thermometer and he noted that taking the air temp is not the correct way to determine proper cooling for an absorbtion frig because the whole idea for the frig to work is that it is drawing/ absorbing the warmth from the items inside including the air thru the fins and then dissipating it in the coil.
He said that you need to place a cup of water with a thermometer in it to check the temperature properly.
If the water is in the high thirties to low forties that is considered proper refrigeration.
I am figuring heck with the water, I will crack one of my beers and check the temp on that, if it is cold enough to drink the frig is OK.

We had trouble with our Norcold after 3 months. Took it in to dealer twice until it was fixed. First time in (after tearing down) said it was fixed and brought it home and still didn't work. I emailed Norcold a nasty letter explaining how inconvient this was for us and why couldnt they just put a new one in. They called next day and low and behold we had to tear down and drag in again. Put a new cooling system in. Thought that was it. NOT Two days later finally told them we would not tear down and drag in again so they sent someone out and they had it wired wrong. Said they wired it just like it was so maybe some are wired wrong in the beginning. Finally have a cold frig after a month of none at all

Well, we stopped and got a submersible thermometer and put in a cup of water and placed in fridge. Low and behold the water chilled down to 35 deg at the number 8 setting so it looks like the fridge is working. Oh and BTW, the beer is cold as well!!!!
