High Country is in!

The dealer called yesterday and the High Country 343RL is finally in... As an added bonus it came in as a 2012 so that was an added surprise.

I gotta say that we really like that Keystone did away with the two tone cabinets too. I know some people liked them and I'm sure they would have grown on us had they been there but we're glad that it came in like it did.

Negotiated into the deal (thanks to the advice of the MOC crowd) to change out the tires for BFG Commercial T/A's so they are going on as I type this...

Our dealer was kind enough to send some pics of the new Monty!

Now all that needs to be done is for me to drive out to BC next week to pick it up!

Thank you all for your input and experiences that helped us out immensely... Search was my firend and used it a lot.

Woo hoo! Another High Country member... congrats!
Take a good look at the "Montana" graphics on the front cap when you get a chance. If it's a 2012 then I assume the build date is fairly recent, but you should know that a couple of us are having a problem with that particular decal.
PM me for more details if you want.
Excellent choice on the tires too...I did the same with mine before driving it home.
Also highly recommend the MorRyde pin box or similar.

What a nice-looking rig! I know you'll enjoy it, especially with those good tires instead of the Marathon bombs carrying you down the road.

Mike,

I paid particular attention to the High Country posts on this site so I am well aware of your issues with the decals... There was one post (can't remember who) that mentioned about the problem could be humidity related... Makes me wonder if there is any type of metal in the graphics? Anyways I will be keeping an eye on that and I'm sure you'll update us if you find out anything.

I was doing the "try it out and see" if I need a pin box. The dealer is just under 500 miles away in BC so I'll see how it rides home from there. Most of the driving will be in the mountains.

Also... Everywhere I go says that the cable slides work flawlessly now... Smooth as can be... Any problems with yours?

Thank you everyone I appreciate your kind words...

Tim

We own the 2011 323Rl. At this point in time we have had no problems with the Graghics or cable slides. We love the two-tone cabinets. They add some zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-aaye,wonderful feeling, wonderful day, in our new Montana High Country. It's the truth, It's actual, everything is satisfactual. Enjoy.

LOL, well that says it all I guess! Ya, the two tone cabinets were a complete non issue with us, we don't even notice it now. Personal preference of course. Also no problems with the slide mechanism although the large slide does creak and squeak a bit when opening and closing.
The graphics/decal issue is still in process, I will post updates as appropriate.
