Insurance

What do you do about insurance? Do you have a separate policy for your Monty with an insurance company or do you keep it with the truck or homeowners policy? I found if I have a separate policy I can get full replacement value but with a homeowners or with the truck which is under the homeowners policy, the monty is covered with depreciation each year. May change to a separate polciy.

That is what we just did b/c of the truck policy not being able to insure it for full replacement value. The truck insurance did it for the first year only.

I have mine on my truck policy, it is what worked for me. Might have to look into a seperate policy to get the replacement coverage if still able to.

Have had separate insurance for over eight years. Best money ever spent, because in 2004 we had a tornado go through the campground where we spend the summer and completely destroy our Coachman TT. Insurance adjuster showed up and wrote a check for the full amount almost on the spot.

We have all our insurance on with the same company which makes for a multi policy discount,The Camper is on our Homeowners policy and the coverage is as if it were a home. Full replacement value, etc. Never used it and hope we never do.
