Tire Manufacturer

I purchased a new 3575RL almost a year ago now. It has Tacoma tires on it. I have been trying to find out who manufactured these tires. I have spoke to 3 different Montana dealers and have not been able to get any information on them. I would like to know in case of any trouble with the tires. I suppose I should just call Keystone. There wasn't any tire warranty papers in the owners packet that came with the fiver. Thanks for any help. I will watch the forum or you can email me at meljean@isp.com.

Tacoma tires are manufactured by Cooper Tires. They do not seem to be advertized very well.

says they're made by Cooper, which is a good brand in my opinion.

Come to think of it, Montana has been using Tacoma tires for a year or more and I've not seen anyone post about blowouts or other problems with these tires. I've had blowout and defective tire problems with the Goodyear Marathons and have heard similar stories about the Michelin trailer tires. Maybe when it's time for new tires I'll look at Tacoma.

--edited-- Applejack, you're faster than me and must have posted that while I was still searching for an answer. Glenn, I hope the Firestones turn out to be good tires for you. I really liked the Firestones on our '99 F350, enough that when it was time to replace I got the same thing. This one has B.F. Goodrich, which I've also had good luck with in the past and I like them so far.

HMmmmm, Cooper you say. Gotta check with my brother on this one. He was, and maybe still is, a Cooper tire distributor. And YES Steve they are a very good brand. I have used Coopers in the past with out complaint. Can't say that about the Firestones that came on the Chevy.

Thanks to all for the reply on the Tacoma tires. I sure don't have any complaints on them as yet. I just thought it was unusual that there was no mention of the tires in the owners packet with the fiver. My F250 had Firestone tires on when new in 2000 and I just replaced them less than a year ago. I had around 59,000 miles on them. I replaced them with the same tire this time. Hope I have the same luck with these. Thanks again......

I read on another site that they are made by Cooper under the Parrish Tire name.

The link in my above post shows Parrish Tire as the "Tire Seller". Maybe that means "distributor"?
