CRACKED WIRE HANGERS UNDER SLIDE

Two of the plastic wire hangers that hold the wires under the slides of my 3400RL are cracked and broken. I would like to repair them before we head south. I've heard where some guys repair them with a hinge and would like to know what size and type of hinge they have used and where they mounted it. If anyone out there has solved this type of problem, I sure would like to hear from you. Pictures would also be appreciated. Thanks.

I used a 4" hinge from Home Depot. Cut the ragged ends off , and used bolts, nuts, and fender washers to reconnect. Three were broken and one was cracked, went ahead and did them all. Been about a year and so far so good !

Instead of a hinge, I used a piece of rubber mudflap. It's black and blends in very well, and has held up great. Did I mention it was free too?
