Anyone been to Mitchell Caverns?

As we move west along I-40 the map shows that we pass close by Mitchell Caverns about 25 miles outside of Needles California. Has anyone been there? I am wondering what the road is like to the cavern.

At Carlsbad Caverns they have a sign “Not Recommended for Trailers” and rightly so. At Lewis and Clark Cavern at the base of the hill their sign says “Trailers Not Permitted Beyond this Point”. They do have a dirt lot to drop your trailer at while you go to the caverns. Meramec and Grand Canyon Caverns have huge parking lots and campgrounds next to the caverns entrance.

I've never been to the Caverns but a group of my Ham Radio folks had an outing there. The road must be good enough for rigs our size because there were several MHs at least 30+ feet. Let us know what you find out. It might be an interesting place to visit.
