Forget Albuquerque!

Just talked to my sister in Albuquerque - they are having record snowfall - 11 inches so far and counting - freeways look like parking lots - nothing moving from Albuquerque to Abilene -

Uh-oh! That's where we were heading tomorrow for New Years Eve. Actually Santa-Fe, but our friends are flying in to Albuquerque.

Well, looks like we may not be going after all Chuck. As of now, I-25 is closed from Pueblo all the way to the NM state line, and Raton Pass is closed. Guess I'll snuggle in here with the DW and light a fire.

Sorry - have a Happy New Year anyway! Snuggling and a fire are not a bad alternative!

Our neighbors spent a second night in Trinidad awaiting the opening of Raton Pass and are not sure they will get out today (Sunday). May be another day.
