Rear cap (fiberglass) cracking

Has anyone had to repair the rear fiberglass cap (I think that is what it is called - the one piece rear of the Monty)? Mine has many 'spider web' cracks near the base of the ladder. The dealer suggested it would be best to repair it before it gets worse - but he had not looked at it yet.
Any thoughts?

I have some of these in several places so I am interested in the solution to this as well. My dealer looked at the one on the top of my front cap which has been there 2 plus years and said it was not a problem. I called Keystone and they just said have your dealer look at it, which I had already done. So unless it gets worse I am not going to do anything at this time.

We had to have the entire bottom part of the cap replaced. A shop that specialized in fiberglass boats did the job, looks brand new.

We had some of the same type of cracks on ours around where the ladder is attached. Although I think they were only cosmetic, Keystone paid to have them repaired once it was brought to their attention. Our rig was still under warranty at the time though. I don't know how they will react to something out of warranty. Any body or boat shop that does fiberglass repairs should be able to handle the job.

I had the from cap repaired under warranty in 2006. I don't think they actually had to replace it, I think they have some way of fixing it. My reason for thinking this is it only took a couple days to get it repaired and it takes several weeks to receive a cap for a replacement (ask me how I know this!!!). This was on a unit without the gel coat - I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
