Ah! The road of death in South America. They are improving the road but it will be years before it is anywhere near safe!

In another thread we talked about Mt Washington and the road to the top. Tom's picture shows a road pretty close to the Mt Washington road BUT the big difference is you won't see any trailers, muchless the big rigs you see here. Heck they won't even let Duallys on Mt Washington. And YES it is straight up on one side and straight down on the other and just wide enough for 2 cars to pass each other..

Believe the road to Hanna was better than that. Even on the side of the island that was reportedly off limits to rental cars.

That is simular to the road we took to Weipe, Idaho.(It was paved though). If you are going up or down with the Monty you need to have someone block the logging trucks at the end until you get there. Lots of fun!!
