Wiring BR slide for receptacles

I want to put 120volt receptacles on both sides of my bedroom matress base. How do I come through the slide to add this 120 volt wiring?

First, is the bedroom slide hydraulic? If so, the hydraulic lines come up through the floor under the bed. I ran a 120 volt Romex wire up through the hydraulic line hole and terminated it in a splice box. From there, I ran two SO cords to two outlets on either side of the bed. The SO cord will move with the slide.

Yes, my slide is hydraulic and I see where the hoses go up through the slide. I'm wondering where in the nose compartment did you pick up the 120 volt?

I would use braided wire outside and up thru the hole, then connect to Romex inside. Romex is solid core wire and will eventually break from bending every time the slide goes in and out. If you look at other slide that have electric in them, the factory uses a flexible wire outside, then a connector to Romex once inside the slide.

Thanks to Members Jim Fischer and Jason Lerette, I now have receptacles installed on both sides of matress base in BR slide. With suggestions from these members, installation was a piece of cake. Thanks again.

We have a 3500RL, on the bedroom between the bathroom and bedroom, there should be an electrical outlet. You should be able to splice into that source at the junction box or outlet box for the power you need. Splicing there you should be able to run to the holes under your bed for the outlets you need. Just remember to keep the FLEXING of the wires as slide moves in and out.

We simply pug/unplug our heating blanket between moves at the wall outlet. Also, have a plug strip in the closet for extra needs.

The fixed walls in the bedroom are the best place to install receptacles for access in the bed. Minimize or eliminate flexing of wiring if at all possible.
