NW Idaho Coeur d'Alene

Looking for recommendations for a nice place to spend a few days in NW Idaho. We will be coming from Montana and would like to spend a few days exploreing the area on our way to Canada. Anything from about Kellogg or on Hwy 95 between Coeur d'Alene and Canada. It will be the 4th of July, so we will want to celebrate; no big cities.

We are leaning towards dry camping around Kellogg/Wallace for a few days then moving to an RV park north of Coeur d'Alene for a couple days.

Thanks

We have stayed at and enjoyed Blackwell RV park in Coeur D Alene. It is on the river and close to town. and good restraunts. Be sure and visit the Cedars floating restraunt, it has always been very good! A lot of the RV Parks in N. Idaho are right next to the RR tracks so check closely on your plans.

There is an RV park north of CDA on 95 near a small amusement park but it's been many years since I've been there and I don't remember the name.

We live in Coeur d'Alene and agree that Blackwell Island RV Resort is the best. Better make your reservations soon because it does get full during the summer, especially on July 4th. You will be able to see the fireworks from there. They shoot them off from a barge on the lake.
