Ronstan,
Now that is cool. I am going to have to look into the mount you got. I had considered building one my self but the one you have in the pictures looks really cool.

It has a little vibration but not enough to bother me. A lot depends on the roads. I think for the price it is a good buy. But if you buy one and you don't like it don't expect me to bail you out.
I have a Plexiglas table on mine and now see that they are putting metal on them. I might check with them to see if they had problems.
It took a little while to get it since I had it powder coated grey. Probably the silver color would have worked. ups took about 4 days They send tracking numbers for you to track.

Ron -

How did you mount yours? Just screw into the floor board? I would like it to be quickly removeable, and it looks like it is.

Yes I used four self drilling screws right on the hump part of my truck. With one bolt I can remove it.

Ron -

Just got my new mount. They no longer powder coat, so mine is plain aluminum. Two questions. Did you use 1/4" x 1" sheet metal screws? And what did you use for a strap? Where did you find it? Thanks in advance.

The strap should have come with it at least mine did. If you didn't get one email them. I think I used about 1 1/4 screws not sure now. I think they had a rubber seal on them also. What do you think of it.

Looks good, but I've had issues with shipping and now the strap. I didn't see the strap in your photo. Where did you get your screws that had the rubber seals?

I got my screws from do it best hardware store Not sure if they are all over or not. i think so. Probably not the same name. I don't know if I had the Velcro on in the pictures or not. Will have to look at them.
Went and looked at my pictures. I didn't have the Velcro on. It goes at the top and I put my power wire in it so it doesn't come out. My truck is getting gages put in so It's not here when I get it back will take a couple of pictures and post on the site.
