Just a thought here. If you switch off the Air Conditioner breaker I suspect the furnace will still work and the air can't start.
If it doesn't.... how can the furnace run on 12 volts when boondocking???
That should stop the AC and the heat from fighting each other.
I've since found out the thing tries to use the AC as a dehumidifier... heat and air at the same time seems to be a normal operating condition..... as insane as that may be....and it prefers the AC heat strip to the furnace regardless of the cost of power vs. propane... just another unfriendly gadget from Keystone I guess.

Just came back from our second trip in our new 2980RL. Temperature inside was 66 deg. remote was set at 77 deg, nothing. Changed to 78 deg. and furnace started. Got to about 75 deg. and had to shut it off. Glad we had two electric heaters.
Any word from Keyston on what they are going to do about this problem?

Steve just returned from the dealer in FL. We ended up with a new furnace, they described it as a missing bushing in the exhaust and they replaced the whole furnace. Dealer has heard of all the problems but seem to be waiting for Keystone to take the lead on this. New furnace has the same problems as everyone else, but at least we have heat or cool now.

Actually you can set it to run on A/C only, or heat only. Both of these seem to work well enough on their own, as long as you allow for the inaccuate temperature sensing. The replacement remote seems to be fairly accurate, so as long as we use one function at a time, and set it to "I feel" on the remote, we are comfortable. Its just that it seems so silly to have such a complicated high tech device, and only be able to use it in its most basic modes of operation.
Personally, I am more inclined to blame Dometic for this than Keystone, I would bet that if Dometic don't get this sorted out soon, Keystone will drop the remote. There is nothing in it for them but grief.

We are still trying to figure ours out...wow it is complicated..I have it in the automatic mode. The green light is flashing every second(frost active..what ever that means and its annoying!) and the red light comes on when the furnance lights and stays on till the flame goes out. I wonder if I set it on furnance only, then maybe the A/C wont kick on and I am assuming you can run it that way, instead of having it on automatic???

Well after switching out remote, wall sensor and everything else Dometic today is sending me the digital comfort control center that replaces everything. I will have to change the unit in AC out as well, but I cannot stand this remote thing anymore.

I agree!! We just moved into a 2005 3670RL with a remote from a 2002 3575RL with conventional....The remote is about 10 degrees off. We need to set it for 78 to get it to maintain a room temperature of 68...We were told that we will get used to it! We are on our 2nd remote controller which is no better than the first!

Our second one is better than the first one.....first was 10 degrees off, and this one is only 6 degrees off
